Add option for Site Manager to turn off Notes under Additional Volunteer Information within Opportunity/Responses. Furthermore, it these Notes are not used by the site, then hide them everywhere else they may appear. Also, no fields or questions remain under Additional Volunteer Information, hide the entire section from Opportunity/Responses.
Use case: our Program Managers do not want their volunteers to communicate through the Notes field.
I appreciate you sharing your insight and use case for making the Additional Volunteer Information section optional for site managers. How would your program managers like to receive notes from a volunteer? Is there a better way for your program managers to receive this information?
Many of our site managers, and their program managers, find this section to be extremely helpful for their volunteers as it allows for the volunteer to make notes about accessibility, allergies, and other needs that they may not be able to communicate otherwise.
