Volunteer Fox Valley requests the ability for more robust filtering by city. Because our organizational reach spans multiple cities, our users (organizations and volunteers) want to be able to search for organizations and events in their home town, not necessarily by county or miles. We request "city" be added as an additional filtering option. 

Hiya! Volunteer Houston greatly supports this idea too. Urban cities like Houston have many suburban cities that do NOT identify with the larger "Houston" area. However, we have lots of nonprofits in those suburban areas posting needs. I plan to create a filter for needs in a specific city and link it to a "redirect" custom page with that city name, then advertise and promote that custom page in the corresponding cities. For example, in Katy, TX we will advertise Katy.volunteerhou.org that links to a city-specific filter.

So, what are the chances you can add a city filter? :)
