Date registered on site should be added to User Profile

Could the date a volunteer registered on our Galaxy site be a metric that's added to their User Profile? I constantly check users' profiles for all kinds of information to make sure I'm communicating with them appropriately and building a relationship/volunteer experience in context of all the stuff on there - their location, age, skills, availability etc. Easily/quickly knowing when a volunteer registered on our site would be hugely helpful for this context.

For example, if I found someone who was a perfect match for a certain role I needed, but also saw that they hadn't yet signed up for any opportunities, I'd want to know if they registered a month ago or two days ago. That would influence the way I reach out to them and what I would say. I know I can figure out when they registered on our site by clicking on their emails and checking the date of their welcome email, or by creating an email blast filter with "date added after," or there are other options involving exporting spreadsheets. But those are all frustratingly cumbersome ways to try and find that info.

Hi Leslie,

Thank you for adding this suggestion! It sounds like you would like the date they were added to the site to be a column in the users table and/or a field in their profile instead of needing to create a User Filter. Does that sound correct, or am I missing something?

Please let me know, and I'll add your suggestion to our Enhancements Board!

Best,

Hi Leslie,

Great news! The "Account Creation Date" has been added to the Volunteerism > Users table for quicker, easier viewing. You can toggle the column on by using the Table Filter:

This information is not yet within the user's profile itself, but we hope that having it in the user table will be helpful when running your user filters and searches on your volunteers.

Thanks,
