Kiosk search bar auto-populate with the cursor

Hi!

I have been watching people interact with the kiosks a lot by now and I notice that when they say "I have an account" and then choose which of the three ways to search themselves, they miss clicking into the little search bar before they begin typing.

My suggestion is that as soon as volunteers click "enter mobile number" "enter email address" or "enter name" and the search bar pops up, could it auto-populate with the cursor in the search bar already?

Thanks for your consideration!

Hi Holly,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us in the forum! I've added your request for the cursor to appear in the text box when a volunteer selects "Enter Mobile Number" or "Enter Email Address" or "Enter Name".

Thanks!

Caitlin

Hi Holly,

Our Development team has recently updated the kiosk to have the cursor "auto focus" to the given field after a user clicks on a log in button (whether that is by email, number, or name). So, they will not need to click or tap on the screen again and will be able to start typing their respective information on the next page view.

We hope this helps improve your user's experience with the check-in kiosk, thanks so much for adding your voice to our forums.
