Re-order User Export CSV File Columns to match US Mail Template

This is a fantastic report to use for collecting information about your volunteers in a spreadsheet!

There is one tweak that would be very helpful to us. The columns on the export CSV report from the User Data > User Group Filter are not in the right order in regards to the US Postal Service Address when using this report for a Roster.

While you can convert this to an Excel Spreadsheet and rearrange the order, it is time-consuming especially when using this report daily.

This is the current order of the columns:

Domain; UserID; ExternalID; Username; First Name; Last Name; Email; Address; Address2; Age Range; Birthday; City; Country; Company; County Name; Gender; Phone; Phone Ext. Mobile; Zip/Postal Code; State; Household Income; Graduation Date; Department; Role; Disaster Responder; Referrer; Date Added; Date Updated; Date Last Login; User Skills; User Tags; Committees; Favorite Discipline; Extra Data Comments;

Our ideal setup for the columns would be this:

First Name; Last Name Address;  Address2; City; State; Zip/Postal Code; Country; Email; Phone; Phone Ext. Mobile;  UserID; ExternalID; Committees; User Tags; Birthday; Date Added; Date Updated; Date Last Login; User Skills; Favorite Discipline; Extra Data Comments; Graduation Date; Department; Role; Company; County Name; Age Range; Gender; Household Income; Disaster Responder; Referrer; Domain; Username;

Thank you for your consideration of this system-wide change.

Hi Sara,

Thank you so much for following up from our conversation and adding this suggestion to our forum posts! I have added this to our list of product suggestions as follows, and will make sure to discuss this potential change with the rest of the team.

  • To reorder the general user export from Volunteerism > Users columns to align better with the US Postal Service Address formatting: First Name; Last Name; Address; Address2; City; State; Zip/Postal Code; Country; Email; etc.

Have a great day!
