I want to make sure I understand your request so I can document it accurately. When you register a user accoutn on the site, the system checks to see if it is a valid email address (formatted like an email address, doesn't contain any illegal characters, etc.) and if it is already in use in the system. 

Are you asking for an email verification feature that checks to see if it is also a real email address in addition to being formatted correctly?
