Hi, Kathleen! We recognize that our age filter has room for improvement in various areas (including the one you specified above), and we are working on an enhancement to age filters, hopefully to be release in one of our next enhancement cycles!

Age filter: (expand filter when selecting age). The selection of a minimum age search process should include opportunities for both that selected age and capture any younger age selections which are also appropriate for the volunteer.
Issue: Example, if a 16 year old selects the filter 16 and older, the current search result does not include opportunities that are also appropriate for that volunteer (13 or older and 14 or older should also be included)
Benefit: Expand the number of volunteers that see age appropriate opportunities.
