When posting a need in Get Connected, you'll be asked to associate the need with one or more categories. Get Connected uses the term interests for these categories, while Community Connect typically uses skills. In either case, your platform uses these categories to match opportunities up with interested volunteers.
By default, a Connect site has the following interests or skills, each associated with the icon shown. Your site manager has the option to customize or change the number of the defaults, so the interests available on your site may not match the ones shown here.
