This article is for Connect site managers. These notifications refer to standard events, not advanced events. Click here to learn the difference between the two.
Your site's automated notifications include five messages that relate to agency events:
- RSVP Notice to Agency goes to the agency manager.
- Event RSVP Notice to User, Notify Users Week After RSVP Event Ends, and Upcoming Event Reminder go to users who have used the RSVP feature to respond to an event.
- When a user who has RSVP'ed to an event and later unregisters, Unregistered Event Attendee Confirmation goes to the user, and Notification of Unregistered Event Attendee goes to the agency manager.
A sixth notification, "Event Notification for Agency Fans," is classified as a standard template. More information on that template is available here.
Event Messages to Agency Manager
Event RSVP Notice to Agency
The "Event RSVP Notice to Agency" notification (formerly "Event RSVP notification") is triggered when a user RSVPs to an event. Also triggered at this time is the "Event RSVP Notice to User" message.
The default message goes to the manager(s) of the agency that posted the event and provides the name and email address of the person who RSVP'd.
By default, the RSVP Notice to Agency template includes the following tags, or template keys:

Notification of Unregistered Event Attendee
This message is triggered when someone who previously RSVP'ed to an event unregisters from the event.
By default, this template includes the following tags, or template keys:

Event Messages to User
The Event RSVP Notice to User, Notify Users Week After RSVP Event Ends, and Upcoming Event Reminder messages go to users who have used the RSVP feature to respond to an event.
Event RSVP Notice to User
The "Event RSVP Notice to User" notification is triggered when a user RSVPs to an event. Also triggered at this time is the "Event RSVP Notice to Agency" message.
The default message goes to the person who has responded to an event. It confirms that the recipient has RSVP'd and is planning to attend the event. It also includes a link to the event, should the recipient want to view or change their response.
By default, the RSVP Notice to User template includes the following tags, or template keys:

Notify Users Week After RSVP Event Ends
This notification goes to users who have RSVP'd to an event. It is triggered one week after the event ends. The default message thanks the individual for responding to the event and invites them back to Get Connected to find more events that may interest them.

Upcoming Event Reminder
The "Upcoming Event Reminder" notification goes to users who have RSVP'd to an event. It is triggered twice: one week before the event occurs, and one day before the event occurs. As a result, the user will receive this notification twice before the event.
