This article is for site managers and applies to all versions of all Connect sites.
Your Connect site's standard automated notifications include two messages that relate to pending items: Notice of Pending Items and Pending Hours Notification for Agency.

Notice of Pending Items
Once a day, your system looks for pending agencies, agency changes, needs, events, and qualifications. If any are found, the "Notice of Pending Items" message is sent to the site manager.
Note: The option to require site-manager approval is set in Site Settings.
This message simply informs the site manager that items are pending approval. It can also show the types of items in question.
By default, this template includes the following tags, or template keys:

to_firstname | First name of the recipient |
to_lastname | Last name of the recipient |
to_email | Email address of the recipient |
items | Types of items that are pending |
Pending Hours Notification for Agency
Once a day, your system looks for pending volunteer hours. If any are found, the "Pending Hours Notification for Agency" message is sent to the primary manager of each applicable agency.
Notes: This notification was previously titled "Agency Pending Timesheet Notification"; you may see this title if you have not updated the template recently.
The option to require agency manager approval of hours is set in Site Settings.
This message notifies agency managers that they have volunteer hours pending review.
By default, it includes the following tags, or template keys:
