I believe we set the program up this way to prevent managers from accidentally removing shifts that people have already signed up for. At the same time, I can see how it can be inconvenient to have to delete shift individually, particularly if you have more than a few shifts! I'll add it to our list of items to discuss at our next enhancements meeting.
