Hi Chloe,
Thanks for adding this to the forums! To confirm: You're suggesting that there be an addition a new notification that informs users that they've been added to a user group or the addition of a User Group link template key.
Does that sound right? I want to make sure I'm passing on the right thing to the enhancements team!

I think it would be great to have an activation email or notification that allows people to access their User Group and User Group opportunities from a click of a button. For me this would be helpful as I have many volunteers who will be using User Groups as the main way to sign up for opportunities, so having them directly go there the first time they use the site would be great. Maybe adding a template key to the activation email would be great as well. This template key could be like "click here to access your User Group" or something like that.
