Hi Judy, thanks for writing in! I have added your request to our list of enhancements to review and will bring it up to the team in our next enhancements meeting.
One question I have is, is the idea to display this to site managers only, or do you want to make this visible to all users on the front end?

As a way of celebrating volunteer birthdays, we would like to have a space where the birthday boys and girls can be listed automatically. Of course this would be a manageable tool that we could turn on or off; have it set for each day or monthly or quarterly.
The notification is a nice feature but the rest of the group is not aware of that notice.
