Filter Needs by City

I will ensure that the request for filtering by city is provided to our team to consider for implementation.
I would state though that setting up a subdomain for each filter might be more of an effort in order to redirect each to a link on our site.
It may be easier to make hyperlinks for each as it may be more cost-effective, nonetheless, I will ensure that this is passed over.

You could create different custom pages to match to your specified wants, and we have some great resources to learn about their capabilities here.

Hiya! Volunteer Houston greatly supports this idea too. Urban cities like Houston have many suburban cities that do NOT identify with the larger "Houston" area. However, we have lots of nonprofits in those suburban areas posting needs.
I plan to create a filter for needs in a specific city and link it to a "redirect" custom page with that city name, then advertise and promote that custom page in the corresponding cities. For example, in Katy, TX we will advertise Katy.volunteerhou.org that links to a city-specific filter.
