Thank you for submitting a suggestion to this forum. For clarification, by edit texts on certain pages is this about changing the language appearing in the pop-up windows when a volunteer responds to an opportunity? Here's a screenshot below from my test site of how this pop up make appear:

There is the option to change the language in this pop up "making a donation to your local United Way" for your organization. Click here to see what language overrides are available for your site.

As well as disabling this pop up in the site manager dashboard in Settings > Main Settings in the Volunteers area and toggle the "Show Pop-up After Action" to OFF then click Update Settings button: 

Please let me know what are your thoughts on this or if I've missed the mark here.
